Dr. Sanjay Gupta explains Roemheld Syndrome
In 2016, consultant cardiologist Dr. Sanjay Gupta published one of the most widely viewed videos discussing Roemheld Syndrome, also known as Gastrocardiac Syndrome. At the time of writing, the video has been viewed more than 1.7 million times and has received over 5,700 comments.
Although Roemheld Syndrome remains under-researched and is still not widely recognized as a formal diagnosis, Dr. Gupta’s video helped bring greater awareness to a condition that many patients feel accurately describes their experiences.
